For people looking to hire a band, Nicola performs regularly at functions and events with her band Jazz Factory, a jazz band for all occasions.
Nicola is also the founder of EcoBeats, a recycled bucket drumming program that offer drumming workshops for schools, festivals, events and conferences.
“Nicola Ossher is a drummer who has her own unique sound. She intuites her way through the music and develops a groove from within the song. I wanted to work with her from the moment I saw her play because of her creative and sensitive approach and because of the different tones and combinations that she used. She wasn’t just accompanying the singer songwriter - though she can do that brilliantly- she added a tonal colour to the sound with her playing.”
“Nicola has such an attuned sensitivity to the music and musicians she is playing with. She knows how to get inside a song, and play along with the heart and soul of the music. She is a beautiful human being, whose generosity and love spills into her approach to music. She is a spark that lights up any musical experience, with her warmth, her talent, and her presence.”
