Goldy’s
Nicola has worked as the event manager on all Goldy’s events from 2024-2025. Goldy’s is an initiative to build the LGBTQI+ community on the Gold Coast by hosting events that build community and showcase emerging and established queer, local talent. Jazz In The Tweed
Nicola received a grant from NSW Government in conjunction with Tweed Council to put on a 5-part weekly jazz concert series in Tweed Heads. She coordinated the event and covered all aspects of organising from programming, to marketing to delivery. The event was put as a social opportunity for reconnection within the community, particularly the senior community, post-COVID.

As a stage manager Nicola has worked with the likes of Jenji Kohan, Ane Brun, Spike Jonze, Christine Anu, Marsha Hines, Guy Sebastian, Dami Im, Paul Mac, John Paul Young, Shepard Fairey, Sandra Sully, Oliver Stone and Margaret Pomeranz.
2018 Australia Day Live At The Opera House Concert
Nicola was the talent co-ordinator for the 2018 Australia Day concert at the Sydney Opera House. Her role included preliminary logistics work in the lead up to the event and on the day management of artists and talent runners. Talent for the 2018 concert included Marcia Hines, Dami Im, Guy Sebastian, John Paul Young, Casey Donovan, Lorenzo Rositano and Anthony Callea.
Shir Madness Festival
Nicola was one of the founding members of the Sydney Jewish Music Festival, Shir Madness, assuming the roles of Festival Manager and Artistic Director for the 2010, 2012 and 2013 Festivals. She is resuming her role as Artistic Director for the 2018 Shir Madness Festival.
Shir Madness is a one day music and art festival featuring over 40 bands hailing from all parts of Australia and across the globe. Held at the Bondi Pavilion it attracts an audience of around 2000 people. Go to www.shirmadness.com to see more.
Jazzgroove Summer Festival 2013
Nicola was the Festival Co-ordinator of the 2013 Jazzgroove Summer Festival, a 3 day festival held across multiple venues in Surry Hills and Redfern. Pink Sunday
Nicola was the Event Co-ordinator of the 2012 Pink Sunday, a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Network Australia. Through the creation of an online fundraising campaign she helped the NCJWA NSW to raise over $15, 000 and put on a highly successful event.
Changing Tunes
Nicola was the event organiser of the Changing Tunes Climate Change Fundraiser Mini-Festival. The event raised money and awareness for Beyond Zero Emissions and featured artists such as M. Percival, Ngaiire, Billie McCarthy and Cafe of the Gate of Salvation.
